Fifth Belt and Road Summit 2020
3E Accounting took part in the Fifth Belt and Road Summit 2020, together with key decision-makers including Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam and Indonesian President Joko Widodo.
In her Opening Address, Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam reiterated Hong Kong’s support for the rules-based multilateral trading system led by the World Trade Organisation (WTO) that underlines international trade and commerce. Hong Kong has adopted the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation or APEC Putrajaya Vision 2030 along with other APEC-member economies and is looking forward to beginning discussions on its accession to the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and joining the 15 member states, many of whom are participating in the Belt and Road initiative.
The Belt and Road Summit Policy Dialogue and Business Plenary
The Belt and Road Summit Policy Dialogue and Business Plenary focused on how to create a Healthy, Sustainable and Inclusive Future, with discussions aimed at powering global recovery through sustainable and inclusive development. Business opportunities in the Belt and Road initiative span across multiple verticals from international infrastructural cooperation, innovation and technology, to deal-making and dispute resolution.

The Virtual Opening of 3E Accounting Limited in Hong Kong in July 2020 in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic and global travel restrictions demonstrates 3E Accounting’s confidence in the Hong Kong economy and the pivotal role it plays in the development of the Greater Bay Area, comprising the two Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macao, and the nine municipalities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing in Guangdong Province.
