Youth Entrepreneurs Alliance in Hong Kong to Offer Comprehensive Support
The recently launched Youth Entrepreneurs Alliance in Hong Kong encourages youth to participate actively in the economy. The launch ceremony, named the Alliance of Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurial Bases in the Greater Area Bay, was officiated by Hong Kong’s Chief Secretary, Chan Kwok-ki.
The Greater Bay Area (GBA) will be the preferred entry point to promote active integration of youth into the country’s overall development. The Youth Entrepreneurs Alliance will be the established platform for youth to present their ideas, talents and realise their dreams.
Additionally, the alliance will cooperate further with Mainland and Hong Kong authorities and community sectors to meet Hong Kong’s youth entrepreneurs’ needs and assistance.
Who’s Part of the Alliance?
Among the Guangdong-Hong Kong task force, essential tasks on youth employment, entrepreneurship and internship include establishing the alliance. The alliance’s leading parties are the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Guangdong Provinces and the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Guangdong Province.
Up to 60 representative organisations from various sectors in Hong Kong and other GBA cities also participate in the alliance. They include government and public organisations, innovation and entrepreneurial bases, NGOs and social organisations. There are also post-secondary institutions, scientific research institutes, professional organisations, and venture funds in the alliance.
With various members in the alliance, youth entrepreneurs have a broader network base to leverage resources and achieve synergy through comprehensive support.
